While having breakfast at Coffee Bond, Sector 29, Noida, Mittali heard a horrid shriek. Upon running to the road, she was horrified to see a grievously injured young dog running helter-skelter. A rashly driven car had run over her face and her jaw seemed broken and her eye had popped out. We immediately rushed, paid the bill with most of our food still remaining, and started running behind her.

After running behind her and cornering her in a garden, we managed to capture her. 

After this, we decided to rush her to Sanjeevani Pet Clinic, Sector 55, Noida. Here they managed to stabilize her after great effort.

After this, we decided to go to Happy Pooches, a pet boarding service, run by Shweta Vij.

After we left, we got a call from a woman who said she took care of the dogs in the neighborhood from where Ganga was picked up. She said she wanted to take Ganga away and continue with her treatment. Though apprehensive, we agreed.

In early January 2024, we got word that Ganga was significantly better. Her jaw had healed, but her eye had to be removed surgically as it was beyond saving.
